About
Hamilton Gardens is a large scale, boutique residential development in Dublin 7 with close to 500 1, 2 & 3 bedroom boutique apartments, set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, courtyards and terraces.
74’s brief was to appraise the existing amenity provision and public realm spaces, as well as developing strategies to create an exemplar residential community within the scheme with class-leading amenity and interior design throughout. The development and individual buildings are named after prominent Dublin scientists from the Victorian era.
Our work centred on the full design and specification of three main apartment types to provide variety and distinction across the seven residential blocks. Working with the client and project team, we developed a water tight design and specification that was fully compliant, hit the cost plan and was efficiently procured from the Irish market place, during the Covid-19 period where movement of people and goods was severely restricted.
Hamilton Gardens was designed to meet extremely tight cost, programme and procurement constraints, whilst providing high standards of quality and an exemplary amenity offer.
